Speedtech's '68 C10 Shop Truck
We've been hankerin' for a hauler for some time now, we needed a good excuse to develop some new suspension parts for the 67-72 C10 crowd. Well this little p'up wandered into the shop lookin' like it had a pretty tough life. It's got quite a history, we'd tell you but we really don't know what it is, lol. Needless to say, there wasn't one matching color panel, it was missing half it's parts, it had rust all over and it looked so bad it would run and hide every time a camera came out. I barely got that first shot while it was hiding behind the paint booth.
After waiting patiently in the corner of the shop for several months the truck finally emerged with a pretty serious game plan. Instead of simply adapting our suspension to it's battered frame we decided to start fresh with the most killer chassis and suspension on the market today, Speedtech's new ExtReme suspension program. Along with our new ExtReme Camaro and Nova subframes and Chevelle and Tri 5 full frames, these new C10 frames offer a super low stance and fully optimized suspension geometry based around our next gen ATS tall spindle. And, for the first time ever in a truck, our famous Torque Arm based 3 link hangs the hides out back. Stay tuned as we update photos of the build along the way!
