LS Series Road Race Oil Pan

Front mounted rack and pinion steering on late model cars has allowed the oil pans on the LSX engine to grow in both length and depth with no ill effects. However, the early model cars attempting an LSX conversion feel those ill effects. The deeper and longer pans now interfere with the steering linkage and frames, requiring modification. Rather than modify the pan to clear the interference, ATS engineered a new pan to compliment the chassis of an early muscle car. The LSX Road Race pan offers an approach to the swap not yet seen by the industry. The fully fabricated pan features internal oil baffles to control oil starvation under hard cornering, constant radius dash 12 AN oil cooler lines to relocate the oil filter, oil return bungs for turbochargers, and a temperature sensor bung. The pan comes with a special oil pick up tube, new gasket, and full stud kit for installation.
